Everything seems to be early this year, and quite thirsty due to the extended dry, hot spell enveloping central Ontario. Caught a quick pic of this dragonfly taking a breather on a bee balm leaf.
Yellow Tree Peony
Right on cue, a beautiful bloom lights up the garden.
Better late than never!
A little late to the party, my new mock orange shrub has finally decided to bloom!
Oasis
My sanctuary, my source of inspiration, reflection and my window into heaven.
Garden Magic, 2018
No drawing, painting, portrait or photo can match the beauty and detail of nature's paintbrush.
Peonies
Thank you Mother Nature for providing another spectacular peony show in the garden. The yellow tree peony is just beginning to blossom now too!
Gardening Glory
The late spring gardens are filling in and up with glorious colour. My favourites, peonies are beginning to open, I can't wait until they are all on full display! Visit my garden page to see how well my container plants are coming along as well as see some beautiful photos of local wildflowers and ferns …
Lilacs in Parry Sound
I so love this time of year, when spring-floweing shrubs and trees explode with colour along streets and sidewalks, and in so many gardens. Who can resist iheir intoxicating fragrances as they waft gently through the air. Lilacs are my favourite.
